Better performance: turn on hardware acceleration
Why? Dark Fantasy Online draws everything with your graphics card (GPU). When "hardware acceleration" is off, the browser draws the game with the processor instead — the game gets slow, stutters, drains the battery, and on some PCs the screen stays black. Turning it on is safe, free and makes the game (and videos, maps, other games) run smoothly.
Google Chrome
- Open
chrome://settings/system(copy it into the address bar). - Turn on "Use graphics acceleration when available".
- Click Relaunch.
Microsoft Edge
- Open
edge://settings/system. - Turn on "Use graphics acceleration when available".
- Click Restart.
Opera / Opera GX
- Open
opera://settings/system. - Turn on "Use hardware acceleration when available" and restart Opera.
Firefox
- Open Settings › General › Performance.
- Untick "Use recommended performance settings", tick "Use hardware acceleration when available" and restart Firefox.
Discord app

- Turn on Hardware Acceleration (Discord restarts).
Still black or slow?
- Open
chrome://gpu: if it says "Software only" or "Disabled", update your graphics driver (NVIDIA, AMD or Intel website/app) and restart the PC. - Close other heavy tabs and programs.
- On phones, use Chrome or Safari up to date.
